Privacy Policy

Keygram is built privacy-first. A keyboard sees everything you type, so the core promise of Keygram is simple: the words you type stay on your iPhone. This policy explains what that means, the limited information we do collect, and the choices you have.

What never leaves your phone

Predictions, learning and autocorrect all run on-device. The private vocabulary Keygram builds from how you type — your words, your slang, the languages you mix — is stored locally on your iPhone. We do not send the text you type to our servers, and we never use it to train shared or cloud models. There are no typing analytics, no ad profiles, and no "anonymized" transcripts.

Information we collect

  • Waitlist email. If you join the waitlist, we store the email address you give us so we can tell you when your spot opens and send build updates. That's the only reason we keep it.
  • Optional iCloud backup. If you choose to sign in with Apple and back up your vocabulary, it is stored encrypted so it can follow you to a new phone. It stays restorable and deletable, and it remains your data. Backup is optional — the keyboard works fully without it.
  • Basic app diagnostics. We may collect anonymous, aggregated crash and performance data to keep the app stable. This never includes the text you type.

How we use information

We use your waitlist email only to contact you about Keygram. We use diagnostics only to fix bugs and improve reliability. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Your choices and rights

  • You can unsubscribe from waitlist and product emails at any time using the link in any email we send.
  • You can export, back up, or wipe your on-device vocabulary at any time from within the app.
  • You can ask us to delete the email address we hold for you by writing to the address below.

Children

Keygram is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you.
